Some of our favorite traditions have included…

• (Doing our best to) attend church every weekend.
• Traveling to a new destination in the summertime. As of August 2024 we visited Washington D.C. and even got to tour the White House!
• Celebrating all that Autumn has to offer…baking pies, visiting apple orchards, carving pumpkins, and enjoying crisp sweater weather.
  • In 2023, Sofia challenged herself (and succeeded) in baking a pie for each month of the year!
• Sharing a meal at Ciao Bella (Bloomington, MN) to celebrate our anniversary.
• Taking a Saturday to visit the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. We like to visit a few weekends per month!
• Christmastime is very special to us and often involves many family get-togethers and activities. Prior to “the big day,” we’ll decorate our home, frost dozens of cookies, watch movies, or participate in the yearly “dice game” with Sofie’s extended family. Typically on Christmas Eve, David and Sofia will attend church with family, enjoy a meal at Olive Garden, and end the night with opening gifts.
